Welcome to Sherlock Amplifiers, the home of quality tube guitar amplification and guitar related technology proudly designed and hand made in Australia. We offer a growing range of products designed and built to the highest standards. Sherlock Amplifiers has been working with guitarists and helping them to find their sound for over 15 years and have over 25 years experience in electronics.

With the Frankston International Guitar Festival fast approaching, things have been very busy at Sherlock Amplifiers over the last few months. There has also been a growing excitement as each amp nears completion, particularly the new products we will be unveiling at the Festival trade expo. We are looking forward to turning some heads and to seeing how people react to the debut of the new products.

With all our efforts focused firmly on product development and recently on preparation for the Festival, we have not been able to keep our website updated with the current details of many of our products or to add the exciting new products that have been under development and are now available.

In Brief

•  The original Vintage 112 has evolved into the brand new Vintage Reverb 30. (A new 50watt amp will be developed to update the 112). Vintage Reverb 30 will be available as a head or as a 1x12 or 2x12 combo. The sound this amp produces makes it difficult for you to put your guitar down.

•  The Bufftone, is a 100 watt version of the Vintage Reverb 30 and is available as a head or as a 2x12 combo. It features switchable reverb, Master volume A&B, and selectable tube or silicon diode rectifiers.

•  Also appearing at the Festival will be a relative of the Fathead, currently under development, known as the Bonehead. It has two channels and a 50 watt output, but when it will become available and its exact features are still to be decided.

•  Each channel of the already amazing Fathead has been further refined and now sounds more mind blowing than ever.

•  Sherlock speaker cabinets are now available. Choose either a 2x12 or 4x12 closed back cabinet constructed of 19mm premium ply, finished in durable black tolex and quality handles, corners, and wheels (quad only), and featuring Sherlock Amplifiers proprietary internal bracing system.
