The following is a short list of MOD's that we do on a regular basis. There are many more, and we can do them also, in fact that's how our products were first developed. If you can't see the mod you're after just give us a call or email at: info@sherlockamps.com and we'll tell you if we can do it. RE-TUBE AND SERVCE. Remove old tubes and install new ones, service and re-bias. This is the single most effective mod which when done properly and providing that nothing else is wrong, will restore the amps tone back to original tone. MASTER VOLUME MOD FOR MARSHALLS. Can be installed in 3 positions in the circuit depending on results required. Suitable for non-master volume amps and allows pre-amp distortion. DEPTH CONTROL. Install 6550 in a Marshall for cleaner bigger sound. Requires 6550 tubes and bias change. HT FUSE INSTALLATION. For all tube amps without HT fuses. Minimizes damage in the event of power tube failure. Requires one fuse holder and wiring. FOOT SWITCHES. Any custom footswitch can be made up for any amp missing one or a special function that is required. AB BOX. Any AB Box configuration can be made up for none standard applications. GUITAR LEAD MOD. Install a shorting plug on guitar lead. Allows guitar to be disconnected from lead without amp hum or noise. Ideal for noise free instrument changes on stage. MIDI INSTALLATION. You have a 2 Channel Marshall or fender and a multi effects processor and a midi foot controller. To change your patches on the effects unit you hit one of the buttons on your foot controller and if you're about to do your solo you have to hit the amps channel button also. The Midi Mod when installed in to your amp, or setup separately will change the channels on your amp for you, so you only hit one button to get your solo sound. If installed into your amp, you will have a midi in socket and a small program button. Your existing channel switching operation will not alter, but now you will use this to program your amp to change channels when you access you sounds from your effects unit. The amps channel changing can still be operated as it was before the Midi Mod was installed. NOTE: The midi Mod should be installed by a competent technician Sherlock Amplifiers, being the designer of the Midi Mod, has installed many Midi Mods into a variety of equipment. Please email at: info@sherlockamps.com for a quote on installation. MIDI MOD comes in kit form including, Midi Mod pcb, 5 pin DIN plug, program switch, comprehensive instructions and examples of installations. |
